I will no longer watch cable news
Email every news in the US that you know. Tell them you will not watch. Let them know that we will not view them if they don't actually report the truth. Hit them were their pocketbooks are!

3. Cable-free since 2002
After seeing my bill increase to watch absolute garbage and journalistic propaganda hellbent on Fulfulling the Freepers, I upgraded my net connection instead.

We need to create our own media. The crap you see on TV is Pravda.

6. The only worthy shows are Dobbs, Olbermann, and Stewart
The Daily Show is easily downloaded a day or two after its ariing. Too bad Lou Dobbs and Countdown aren't the same.

8. It feels good on day 5
It felt really good when I deprogrammed the last one. I am still debating whether to watch comedy central for the Daily Show but I am off MSNBC sorry Keith. The rest of the trash shall remain nameless * butt lickers. Media is dead to me!

9. I only watch it to see my fave candidates/pundits get abused and
sometimes sneak in a soundbite. Now the election is over, I have no desire. I'll watch Keith.

10. Never watched it, never will
Cable news is part of the problem, IMHO.

The news cycle is so short, they resort to reporting on damn near ANYTHING-- whether it's important or not-- to keep airtime occupied.

How else did we end up with such non-stories as Gary Condit?

TV is one of the worst sources for news, period. Stick to the newspapers-- and the internet for "breaking" stories. Otherwise, fsck TV, fsck cable news, fsck 'em all.

:)
