What EACH of us do at this point in time can be MORE important than our
actual vote on 11/2. Whether it's a donation, convincing a relative, friend, neighbor or whomever that the system isn't working, writing a LTTE, etc., ANYTHING positive you (we) can do to resurrect an honest election is at -least- worth as much as the vote we cast, isn't it?
Giving up is an option, yes...one that will seal the doom of our Constitutional Democratic Republic. We've made it for 228 years, which is probably a record...it's in danger of going down the old history-toilet. But it can be salvaged. It's 'hard work' though.

1. We'll do our part, but we need our elected Democrats to do theirs.
Job #1 is getting our vote protected. They need to make this the 1st order of business....and boycott everything else until this legislation is brought to the floor and passed into law.

Every public appearance has to be an opportunity to bring this up and paint the Republicans as the totalitarians they are...until we get this passed.

If Republicans don't want to support democracy, I'd suggest the Democrats start wearing T-shirts in Congress with a big yellow banana on it as a protest to the new United Banana Republican States of America. Start juggling banana's while in session. Make the whole government democracy charade into the farce it has become.

2. The old 'banana republics' have been doing a better job recently than
we have...it seems; have Guatemala, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Belize, etc. invaded any sovereign nations lately? I don't think so...
