Don't wilt in front of them. Stand up and clarify that you are fighting for the people of the country. Not corporations. Use evidence but constantly highlight that you are fighting for the people that will elect you and will do what is in their best interest.

It is NOT in Americans best interest to inflame and agitate the middle east.

It is not in Americans best interest to destroy the environment.

It is not in Americans best interest to constantly fight wars.

Also, get some damn media! It seems everytime I turn on the news (which isn't much anymore) I hear republican talking points! Also on those pundit shows there are incredible weak democrats. Get Ed Schultz out there!
