Craziness in The Second Term Gonna Be Worse!!

Let me start by saying before he took his job with Bush, Powell was one of my favorite Republicans. He was moderation,bright and knew more about war than anyone else in Bushes Cabinet. So its understandable that I figured when Bush asked him to be Sec State, I and many like me were relieved.
Well we ended up being disappointed, Bush showed that smart does not always win the day in this White House and at first pretty much stuck Powell in an office and let him do little. Then Bush needed a voice that others might listen to on the run up to the war, so he took Powell out of the Box brushed him off and sent him out. Much to the dismay and surprise of many like me. Powell did what he was told.

Oh for those days when the voice of reason still existed even if WE hardly ever heard it was being used we knew it was there.

Today we find in and increasingly dangerous world and in an increasingly dangerous time for those of us who live here in this country, we are losing this voice. The Bush Administration is not just dangerous to the world it is dangerous to us here at home. Who is going to replace this voice, I haven't heard any names being thrown out yet, But I am sure it will be someone who plays yes man to Bush and his people. It will not be someone who in private at least tries to reign this President and the Right Wing Fanatics who control this party in. Whats going to happen to us over the next 4 years is anyones guess but I am feeling increasingly like it wont be good.

To the person who asked will Powell Write a Book? He is a military man if he does write a tell all it will come well after this President leaves office, those around him may Write one or several but we will not hear Powell's real voice till Bush is long gone. Sadly.
