What needs to be done is staring these idiots in the face. This will be the final straw if they don't do the right thing and give him the power he needs to help rebuild the party.

I am SICK of losers like Bob Shrum and Joe Lieberman running our party. LOSS AFTER LOSS AFTER LOSS, they continue to spout the same stupid shit. ENOUGH. SHUT...THE...FUCK...UP....LOSERS.

1. yeah, if serious changes aren't made, we need to leave them behind
I have trouble believing they are even on our side sometimes.

3. How can they even look at themselves in the mirror
with the way they keep losing over and over and over? Don't they wonder for maybe a SECOND- Gee, am I doing something WRONG?

2. I wholeheartedly agree
I am SO SICK of these WIMPS running around Washington... we keep losing, we keep losing touch with what we need to stand for... We need to have someone PROACTIVE like Dean who is going to stand up for and do a lot more than these mamby pamby wimps.

My family is all democrat... and I've been explaining why Dean would make a fabulous chairman... and none of them like the idea. Why? They have no bloody idea, they just don't. What is the matter here, folks, when you see your party in the hole with wimps like Lieberman, and you want to elect another wimp to lead your party instead of a proactive fighter?!?!

SO- WHAT CAN WE DO? I have no idea where to start, but feel that if Dean doesn't get this, we will have dug ourselves that much deeper.

4. You are going to leave the party even though Dean will stick around?
Edited on Tue Nov-16-04 03:24 AM by Democat
Jerry Falwell was never made head of the RNC, but that doesn't mean he doesn't wield incredible power.

Just because Dean doesn't get the official position doesn't mean he can't have more power than the person who does.

Who do you think has more power, Racicot or some of the non-official figures in the Republican party?

Don't give up on the Democratic Party, take it over. That's what the right wingers did to the Republican party.

5. If the party itself doesn't recognize the loser strategy they've taken
for over a decade, now, I won't be able to tolerate it. I've just had enough. Enough. One too many losses while I bang my head against the wall saying "LEADERSHIP, LEADERSHIP, LEADERSHIP!!!"

6. And if DFA remains powerful...
Dean loses real leadership how?

I want Dean as well. I think he would be great. But...

8. We have no leadership, I agree.
But whether Dean gets the DNC roll or not, he can be a leader for change in the party.

7. I won't leave but I do think Dean is the man.
I never supported him for President but I think he's tailor made for party chair. He's an organizer with ideas and he knows how to ignite the base.

I too am tired of this strategy that revolves around playing it safe to minimize losses. We'll minimize losses all the way to keeping that final seat in the Senate.

We're opposing the most corrupt and inept administration since Harding. Who we pick now could mean the difference between massive gains and total extinction.
