"There's a cancer in the White House " |
|
Paraphrasing the memorable words of John Dean durng the Watergate investigations.
It's time we stop the lying bullshit. He is not a moral religious leader. Stop it! Stop lying to the America people! He is a depraved, dangerous, and immoral person.
And just like Nixon, who won by a large majority in 1972, much larger than Mr Bush's, the vote alone does not legitimize the snake in the White House. Step down, Mr Bush. Save our nation the agony of 4 more years of lies and deceit. Save the world from the disaster of your evil ideas. For once in your life, be a man. Do the honorable thing and save our country from the division and battles that loom on the horizon.

1. I suppose it would be too much to hope that my generation |
|
could produce another John Dean now.

there wouldn't be anyone to listen to him this time. At least not unless he did a stint on Survivor first.

5. You are the "Dreamer of the Century". |

I know that you don't serious believe that he would step down. But, it was fun just fantasizing about an act of cardinal justice. My fantasy is that his criminal acts are proved to be true and that he is at the mercy of our flawed criminal justice system. Perhaps he might find himself pleading for clemency with some Governor. He has had experience with that process as you will recall.

7. I don't expect him to step down... |

But I do not want them to think we all believe he is the honorable and moral man that people like Falwell suggest. They need to stop lying.
By the way, people felt the same way when Nixon slaughtered McGovern in '72. The Democrats lost every state except one. Nixon later resigned.

9. But, we had the "goods" on Nixon. Until someone is able to |
|
produce some irrefutable evidence on Bush, we're stuck with him and his successors. We need for one of the retiring CIA guys to step up and become a true patriot. However, I would imagine that the government has many ways to keep those guys quiet.

11. All it would take would be for one person who has the evidence |
|
to be able to make it public in such a way that would be impossible to erase for the public view, i.e. video recordings sent simultaneously to hundreds of media outlets around the world. It could actually be done with the identification of the sender being known. Considering the probability that Bush and his people have committed numerous acts of treason and war crimes, there are hundreds of candidates out there who could bring him down. Why would they? And, why would they not? It would boil down to a balance between the two questions.

He just beat the crap out of us. Nothing will ever come of "vote fraud" charges, whether or not there is anything to them. Impeachment? I laugh a hollow laugh.
So why would he consider doing something to his detriment that YOU consider honorable, when his own supporteres probably would consider YOU to be dishonorable?
I get so discouraged. Don't we have anything more than anguuished cries of frustration and hatred in our arsenals?
