Bush* Purge aims to make this the most unaccountable government in history |
|
PROTECTION RACKET
- This purge is more about protecting the Bush* Cartel and eliminating the last remnants of a system of checks and balances than a simple rearrangement of government officials in a second term as the mainstream media is reporting. The fact that the Bushies are so brazenly using words like 'disloyalty' and 'liberal democrats' as reasons for the purge demonstrates that the American Corporate Media has no problems with the terminology or the purge itself.
- A growing list of assets owned by the Bush* Cartel:
American Media
Democratic Party (?)
CIA
FBI
Pentagon
Homeland Security
State Department
Office of the Attorney General
Supreme Court
Senate
Congress
Federal Judgeships
- In other words...one party - one ideology - one person controls the United States of America. This sets up a scenario for autocratic rule and a government unaccountable to the people. With cronies on every side of Bush*...there will be no impeachment, checks and balances or representative government. The rule of law becomes an antiquated concept.
- The only hope for America at this point is for some of these Bush* 'assets' to break away and mount a strong opposition. Is there a chance that Democrats will take on this role? Will they rush in at the last moment and save the day?

3. The only blame I can assign here... |
|
...is that the Democratic party never really understood the impending danger. I can't accept that they did know...otherwise I'd blow a cork.
- THIS IS COMPLETE CONTROL OF OUR 'REPRESENTATIVE GOVERNMENT' BY ONE MAN AND HIS CRONIES. (AKA: bloodless coup)
- Does our party need to have an anvil dropped on its head before they wake up and sniff the fascism? If you think this is hyperbole...then you either listen to Limbaugh or you haven't been paying close enough attention.

5. But...will they stay bought for the next four years? |
|
- We've already seen what happens when people leave the Bush* admin. and attempt to tell the truth. They are demonized and smeared...with the willing help of a corporate media.
- Can we wait for the Bush* admin. to fall from its own weight? It seems that's the plan of too many in the Dem leadership.

7. Q! Haven't seen you since The Next Generation! |

I don't know, to answer your question. A friend of mine suggests that there is much going on behind the scenes--in the Republican Party included. Since so much goes on behind the scenes in these days of secrecy, we can but hope.

8. Well...there's hope and then there's action... |
|
...The American people need to know that something or some party is actively working to counter the blatant lies and corruption of the Bush* Gang. Otherwise they're going to start thinking that 'silence is betrayal'.

6. Many won't accuse you of overreacting because they see... |
|
...the writing on the wall. If things don't change quickly...with a strong opposition coming into the forefront...we just may see thig going on longer than four years.

10. It could last at least four years... |
|
...because the traditional checks and balances that are normally used to investigate and prosecute criminal acts/corruption in the executive branch are all but missing.
- It should start with the attorney general....but we know that the AG's office under Bush* won't look into ANY wrongdoing. Next comes congressional oversight. Forget about that because both houses are GOP-dominated and there are too many weak-kneed Dems for them to FORCE the Republicans to do their duties to the Constitution and the people.
- The thing is...many of us have been warning the Dems that they couldn't allow the Bushies to gain too much power or they would eventually use it against them. Now that time has come and the Dems are nowhere to be found. Blocking a nomination here and there isn't enough. They must actively oppose the Bush* government and uphold the law.

13. You're right of course... |

...but some of us still had hope that someone of conscience within the admin. would step up and pull a John Dean on Dubya.
- This purge is a power play to get rid of anyone that might even be THINKING of exposing the secrets of the most corrupt US govenment in history.
