I heard that on Air America, have no link. Can anyone confirm if they saw/heard this? I am sure Bushy will pass this asap so any ongoing recounts will become null and void...

If your senator or representative is voting FOR this then we need to get in front of them, petition, letter writing, faxes, etc.

Give them the ultimate frightening example of why they shouldn't do it. Say, "what if, the eeeeevil libruls found a way to cheat in the elections. Why, you wouldn't be able to recount them or anything!!! Then they'd take over and start rounding up god fearin' folk and making them look at nipples and married gays on the teevee all day long."

4. No act of Congress can make anything unconstitutional.

The only way this could be done would be by amending the constitution itself, a long, difficult process. I can't imagine that both houses of Congress and the states themselves would ever approve an amendment outlawing recounts.

any unconstitutional law can be deemed constitutional without amending the Constitution. Because they said so. The end (in more ways than one).
