Poll question: What should Harry's next step be if he confirms Torture Gonzales & Condi?
Gonzales wrote the torture memo and will be deciding how law enforcement officers will treat us. Expect more tanks in L.A. Condi knew "Bin Laden determined to attack within the United States" before 9/11 and fulfilled her duties as NSA director by letting him do it.

So if Harry fails to fillibuster these two, he should:

2. I think he should
save filibustering for the appointments that will be around long after this administration.

3. What kind of torture would you like Gonzales to use on your family?
It's only temporary.

4. None and I would like them
to grill him on the torture memos and his execution briefings in Texas. I just think that once * goes he will be gone, but the judges * appoints will be around for years after him.

8. When * goes, in four years, you and your family could be dead

I'll probably be out of the country by then. But I'll feel sorry for those who didn't see the Gestapo coming.

On second thought, he'll probably stay long after you're gone. Whose going to prosecute him for holding office over eight years? Torture Gonzales?

5. I wouldn't waste fillibusters on these people
We have to save it for supreme court justices. You aren't going to get anyone moderate or liberal out of this administration.

6. I agree
Be hard on them, expose as much shit as possible, but don't fillibuster. The big fights are going to be the Supreme Court. Have to save most of our ammo for that, and gain a little by pointing to the idiotic choices of Gonzales and Rice and Goss and whoever else Bush puts in.
