John Kerry Speaks Out
(11/16/04 9:13 p.m.) Two weeks ago, Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry conceded defeat in the presidential race against George W. Bush. On Tuesday, Kerry talked about his campaign with NECN political reporter Alison King -- and his future in Washington, D.C.

3. He seems to be shoring up his senate seat
mentions Massachusettes repeatedly.

Talks about a 50,000 vote gap and it moving the other way -- kind of weird. He doesn't name the state and doesn't place that count into any kind of timeline. So I assume he means that is what he was looking at when he conceded.

7. He's talking about a vote shift in Ohio.
If you are losing by about 100,000, then you only need to "shift 50,000 votes in order to win.

Call me a Pollyanna, but I think there was plenty of comments made that he hasn't given up on 2004 yet.

24. He says he has the same position as Bush has on Gay Marriage
but Bush exploited it more, well John that is how the game is played now if you want to win, call em out first, loud and long. Democrats will lose every time if they continue to think they can play nice in a pool with crocodiles, they will bite you in the behind and snap your head off. Negative sells well and some of the proof is the squatter still in the WH and the lost seat of Daschle.

27. The weed that would be king didn't admit that he was in favor of
gay civil unions until the Saturday or Sunday before the election. Prior to that he was raving about the sanctity of marriage and that marriage could only be between a man and woman.

That the press did not drill this flip flop is not Kerry's fault.
That the press did not equally and adequately cover Kerry and shoved the weed down everyones throat is not Kerry's fault.

He siad that "there are votes that haven't even been counted yet..." Even my Husband, who is sick of it all said, Wow, that is a man on a Secret Mission. He's up to something, Only he knows what that is. I miss John, I miss the Other John. I could be wrong, but I still say he looks like he may be up to smomething.

traitor.

The weed that stole the office from Al Gore and is trying to steal it from my President is a traitor. He is a traitor to the Constitution, he is a traitor to the people and, as a Christian that tries to follow the teachings of the Christ of the Christians, Jesus, I pray every day that my judging the weed as a traitor to his alleged faith will be forgiven.

You are too new to be making such defamatory statements. If you watched and listened to the video, if you observed his mannerisms and paid attention to what he did not say as much as to what he said, you would know that he did not call the 2004 election -- it is not over.

32. Thank You For The Link..............
It is great just hearing from him again. This man hasn't given up anything yet. He more less says that in this interview when he is talking about they havn't finished counting all the votes yet. He also is saying that in a round about way that there will be fights over Bush's crap! I also listen to him today on C-SPAN during the Senate meetings and he was great then to. He just flat A$$ out told the republicans he wasn't going to vote yes to raise the debt ceiling for this president when they refuse to take responsibility in paying for all of this. Harkin told them like it was to. They were great! By listening to this interview and him talking in the Senate today to me proves first off he has not just rolled over when it comes to this current election he is still fighting just not out in the open. Second even if they can't prove he won this election when all is said and done Bush and the repukes are going to wish they never heard the name Kerry! I have alot of respect for this man and feel he would be a great president. I will support him all the way!

34. Thanks for the reminder, I need to watch CSpan and see if I
can catch the replay. What I find so ironic about all of this is how many pro-Kerry folks on this board and many in the party are acting as if their lover betrayed them. They are not looking at it rationally at all. If they just stop and think how many votes we know he won, those numbers alone are amazing and neither Kerry nor the party have anything to apologize for or reform. If, as suspected, the BFEE stole votes from Kerry and he won, then by gosh, no one should be talking party reform, rather the focus should be election reform.

I wonder how many federal congressional races were won by the repukes using the illegal methods that we suspect were used? Did they really win their seats and new seats?

I had to turn off CSPAN when they had Delay patting himself on the back and pretending to be a victim of "political persecution" :puke. Maybe it will be on again this week or over the weekend.
