Poll question: 2008 Election (pretend) scenario: Hillary vs Condi - Who would win?
Edited on Wed Nov-17-04 11:51 AM by jtb33
Just for fun...

Just to be clear, I am asking who do you think would win, NOT who you would vote for.

There seems to be a polarization here on DU with regards to Hillary and many see her as a sure loss for Democrats. However, with regards to Condi, would the fact that she is black and a woman turn many of the southern states away from her?

(edited for punctuation - sorry!)

1. A lot of racist voters would be turned away from Rice, yes.
But only a tiny few of them would even consider voting for Hillary.

2. Rice would win because she is part of the same fucking machine
that has alread stolen two maybe three (mid-term) elections for the rupukes.
If something isn't done about the eleciton process in this country, there will never be another Dem in the White House.

3. This isn't exactly cut and dry
Let's see, African Americans might be completely fed up with the Dem party by 2008, so you can't exactly count on that vote anymore. Hispanics and others are switching heavily to the Republican party. The racists/sexists of the Repub. party will just stay home.

5. Hillary SHOULD win- she is smarter,
tougher, infintely more competent. But this is the country that voted for Bush. I have no faith. Idiot liar Condosleaza would win.
