GOP looks to change the rules to keep leadership
In a striking parallel to the Presidential election where it seems that Bush supporters turned to plan B (election fraud) in order to keep him in power, House Republicans are changing their own rules in order to keep DeLay in his seat, should he be indicted for fraud.

4. A rock and a hard place.....
I liked Traficant, for his "go get 'em" tenacious nature. Seems a lot of other people did too. I guess it had to be though.

2. Change rules of Senate to allow felons to stay; change constitution to
allow civil rights to be taken from people (right to marry whom you choose).

If you don't like it - just change it to what you like - if you are a Republican that is.

Seems to be setting a precedent on lots of things. :(

3. This is an outrage.
I heard about it this morning. In 1993, repugs enacted a law saying that if the house leader was indicted he could no longer serve as house leader. This was enacted in order to oust a democrat. Now that DeLay is facing indictment they of course want to change the rule.... they claim that the indictments are "politically motivated". So either they are just too flipping hypocritical for words or they have no faith in the court system guilty verdict. This is truly sickening.

6. If Delay were to be sent to prison, would they still allow him
to serve?
