Lieberman open to cabinet job with Bush? |

13. Jodi Rell -- she's a Republican (though fairly moderate) |
|
However, the seat is up for re-election in '06.
Hell, I'd be *happy* if Lieberman left the Senate. Then I could vote for a real Democrat.

6. Lieberman snaps up a chance to doff his cap to Bush. Again. |
|
Why say he has to consider a job just because Bush asks it? Lieberman has bought into the Cult of Dear Leader entirely. What an idiot.
Here's my tradition. Turn down any opportunity to associate yourself with a train wreck, and stop putting Bush on a pedestal.

Some of us always knew what you were. Time for the rest to find out.
Ever since he gave that speech excoriating Clinton over Lewinsky I have detested that smarmy, sanctimonious, squealing righteous prig.
Lieberman, get the fuck out of my party.

12. Don't forget that Connecticut has a Repub Governor |
|
Even though Rowland is gone, I don't know who Jodi Rell would appoint. My guess is that she would lean towards Shays. That would be one less seat. IMO as bad as Lieberman is, he would still at least be partially on the democrats side. Shays would be a definate on the repug side.
