New Nuclear Weapon to Surpass Others, Putin Says

I worry about this plan Putin has. Why do we need better delivering systems for nukes? Last time I checked a nuke could take out a pretty good chunk of land, so why improve it? Russia is not a very stable state right now, and I worry that it is heading towards blwoing itself up. Also, Putin isn't the greatest guy, eventhough he is against the war in Iraq. He has a very sketchy past, and I worry that he is trying to make a power move. What do you guys think?

1. What makes you think

Putin is required to do anything to benefit the US?

Russia is doing very well considering the hell they've been through, and Putin is quite popular.

If the US insists on son of Star Wars, did you really think other countries would just sit back and watch?

2. The chips are starting to fall - all against the US. Russia and China

are supposidly dumping US dollars. Everyone but us wants oil sold in Euros. Bushco has their eyes on Iran. The friends of Iran are lining up behind it. Saudi Arabia is selling oil to China. China is pro-Iran. When the chips drop, we are in an economic disaster with a frigging crazy person at the helm with his finger on the button and a trillion dollar Missle Defense System that doesn't work.

So at what point do you think the common folks of the US have been screwed or will be screwed?

3. i remeber hearing back a few months

that russia wanted nukes that could easily evade a starwars type abm system...I am sure they will be able to do it since we couldnt shoot the nuts off of an elephant with one

4. But we have Chuckie-Condi

(or Chucka-con) the premier Russian-ologist. Watch her provoke Putin so she can attempt to amaze us with her intimate knowledge of the Soviets. She is SO over her head, I don't know how anyone sleeps at night.
