An Appeal to John Kerry to help us in this fight against fraud...
Edited on Wed Nov-17-04 10:18 PM by JaneEyrez
I just sent this e-mail to Senator Kerry at his official Senatorial site:

We worked out hearts out for you and we're still here waiting for you to examine the very real evidence of wholesale fraud in this election. Many people think you conceded quickly so you could continue to examine the voting irregularities without the pressure Gore had in 2000, while others go so far as to think you were part of a huge plot (you know, being a Skull & Bones man like Bu$h) to campaign convincingly and then lose.

I chose Civil Rights as the category for this letter because of the numerous accounts of voter intimidation and suppression practiced by the Republicans in this election. This was a horrible return to the Jim Crow days of voter disenfranchisement. I would think there would be Constitutional remedies for overturning the vote, at least in Ohio, for that very reason.

For your own sake, you need to read three things: "The Theft of the 2004 Presidential Election" by James Paterson,; "The Unexplained Exit Poll Discrepancy" by Steven Freeman, Ph.D. (both readily available on the "internets") and a heartbreaking account of election day in Ohio at http://www.freepress.org/departments/display/19/2004/850.

"Believe me, if you don't convince your supporters that you're with us in this fight, you will never again have their support for the presidency. The time is now. It is not too late yet. Bev Harris of BlackBoxVoting.org is in Volusia County, Florida (where I live), right now finding discrepancies in poll tapes. In order to get a 3 and a half million vote mandate, you have to skim everywhere, and we think they did. We believe that a full audit will uncover enough anomalies to lead to a complete recount.

We're tired and fearful; we're afraid our democracy is dead, stolen by arrogant men in power who would stop at nothing to prevail. I felt the need to let you know how those of us who've worked so hard for you and still pray that you will be our next President really feel. We are afraid that you have betrayed us, and yourself, by not using the substantial funds you have available to help those of us who are still trying to find the evidence to overturn this charade of an election. Please don't desert us now.

Your friend and supporter," JaneEyrez

1. Yeah
I sent something like that too a few days ago. I really think he is fighting, just behind the scenes. If he made a big deal out of it and hadn't conceeded, Bush and Co would have already had him in court and had Bush declared their winner. This way the people can do it. I know its frustrating, but think about it, if Kerry is fighting right now, and he let it 'slip' into a few of our circles, it'd be around the internet in an hour and on Karl Rove's front desk. He's doing what he can. He didn't spend most of his adult life trying to become president to just give up on it.

And remember, if it did get around, the GOP propaganda machine would kick into motion and tear him to shreds like it did Gore. (heck, it already has. Yahoo! news was just blasting Kerry on not courting the Hispanic vote...despite the fact he got something like 65% of it.)

I'm trying my best to be patient. The NH recount starts tomorrow, and there will be an Ohio recount very soon (thank you David Cobb). All the time it looks to be that other places like Floria and North Carolina might get drawn in as well.

Keep the faith. Even if we can't get Kerry in, we MUST keep strong and get rid of these BBV machines and do away with private companies counting our votes.

8. Yes, Timebound, I'm in your camp. I'll watch for further
posts from you to see what your feelings are as this issue develops. I agree with you completely that we must keep strong and keep the issue of FAIR VOTING and FAIR ELECTIONS in the forefront.

2. I'm so angry that we are relying on the Greens, Libertarians and even....
Ralph Nadir to press for these recounts. I don't know that I can trust a party that won't fight to make sure my vote counts or the vote of any other person I try to get to help our cause. Here in Georgia we are totally dependent on BBV. I'm even forced to vote in a church.

3. I'll tell ya...
... I'm going to be really really surprised if we ever hear another word about this election from Kerry.

I've been hoping against hope myself that something was going to happen, but at this point I no longer believe.

I'd really love to be wrong, but in my heart of hearts I think this election is over.

4. That is a good letter.
I will see if I can nominate it for the front page, a first for me.

6. Thank you...
but I just had to tell him how heartbroken and angry we all are. I know that campaigning causes some sort of psychosis where you're constantly surround by cheering crowds and supporters and you may have an erroneous belief about hanging on to all that enthusiasm for "next time," but it ain't going to happen if he doesn't fight this one for us.

5. I just emailed him as well
I feel a little better. I sent the same letter, not as good as yours, but I submitted it twice - once under Civil Rights and once under Veterans.

Here is my letter:

Dear Sen. Kerry,

I supported your run for President. My husband and I proudly voted for you as well as all of my friends and a majority of my co-workers. Please HELP US!

The recount that has been called for in Ohio will find fraud. Too many people have looked at the returns and the "glitches", "errors", "malfunctions", etc. that gave Bush votes out of thin air.

Thousands of minority voters were intimidated and harrassed. Their rights were violated.

Please, please, please STAND UP and SAY SOMETHING about this travesty! What can we do, as ordinary citizens, against the Bush Administration? We need your help.

Please, if ever we needed you to turn your boat around and come and fish us out of the water, it's now. We are being fired upon and the water is deep. Please.

I am appealing to you as a mother of two, a veteran and an American who is terrified of what is happening to my country. Have you seen the footage of the protests in LA where 2 TANKS showed up?

Please help us, Senator Kerry. We had your back and we still do. At your command, we will mobalize and fight the attempts to steal our votes.

Thank you.

7. You're wrong...
your letter was WAY better than mine, passionate and feeling, and it brought tears to my eyes. I fear that I'm too much of a thinker and not enough of a feeler, just like Mr. Kerry appears to be.

9. Good letter and it puts into words my emotions
since November 3rd. I don't know what to think anymore--other than Bush is leading us into to some dark, dark days.

Great job!

10. Nice letters
He needs to be told there is alot of pain out here. There are many likely reasons he is talking in code, but he needs to know that we still believe in our system and need some sign that they looking into everything. No vote, no hope. No hope - no society!

11. IT'S ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT TO EMAIL IF YOU ARE FROM MASSACHUSETTS!
state senators and reps often do not pay much attention to out of state emails, so if you are from his home state- write, write , write! and get your friends to write, and your family, and your pets :)
