2. because the media controls the spin on scandals and the radicals

3. I almost buy that, EXCEPT, even the media is paying attention to
the internet now. I've heard several internet blog sites, and on reputable shows like Dobbs.

We can make a difference here! O don't think all of the media yet realizes how much of an impact the internet can make!

6. The demise of Trent Lott illustrates the effect blogs can have on the
political process. Media heads and pundits should be paying rapt attention to the internet.

I believe the brilliance of our internet communities will eventually bring justice to bear on bush and his coterie.

4. Perhaps there really is a God and he just happens to like republicans...
...better, because they seem to need His grace much more than the rest of us. For example, since the eve of the election, the DU web-page has been performing like a dog has used it as a fire hydrant. Now if this were a republican site God would have intervened, shown the webmaster how to fix it and we would have been allowed to engage in the typical nonsense that republicans love dwell on. But we aren't republicans. We are much more savvy and God knows this. So out of love He allows us to find our own solution to the problem, knowing that we will exercise the same love and tolerance and patience toward others, including the DU webmaster.
