Well it was but it didn't start when you think it did, it started way back in the spring of 1916 when Prescott Bush and "Bunny" Harriman were chosen for membership in an elite Yale senior-year secret society known as Skull and Bones. "Bunny" Harriman was the younger brother of Averell Harriman who became the U.S. ambassador to the Soviet Union during World War II, then became governor of New York State, and finally a presidential adviser who was greatly responsible for starting the Vietnam War.
It is from these connections the Bush family learned of "the profits of war" and have the Harrimans become their sponsors and lift them onto the stage of world history. Prescott Bush, and "Bunny" Harriman, along with several other Bonesmen from their class of 1917 would later comprise the core partners in Brown Brothers Harriman, the world's largest private investment bank. What is worth noting here is that 3 things need to be established for a coup to take place; money, and lots of it, control of intelligence, and finally control of the media. The Bush bankroll began on that spring day back in 1916.
The First World War established Prescott Bush and his father, Samuel P. Bush, into a new geopolitical arena, worldwide connections were made. The U.S entered World War I in 1917, in the spring of 1918 Samuel P. Bush became chief of the Ordnance Small Arms and Ammunition Section of the War Industries Board, responsible for government assistance to weapons companies. This position enabled the Bushes to broker deals all over the world.
These "deals" continued up to WWII when in October 1942, ten months after entering World War II, and Prescott Bush was managing partner of Brown Brothers Harriman the U.S. government ordered the seizure of Nazi German banking operations in New York City which were being conducted by Prescott Bush. President Bush's family had played a central role in financing and arming Adolf Hitler for his takeover of Germany; in financing and managing the buildup of Nazi war industries for the conquest of Europe and war against the U.S.A.
These historic connections show the build up of wealth and global connections needed to take over a government, you could say George W's grandfather was "practicing" for when his son and grandson would need these connections and monies. The next ingredient needed was to control intelligence, that role will be played out by George H.
Beginning with the Bay of Pigs invasion in the spring of 1961, we have George H Bush, in addition to working for Zapata Offshore, was a participant in certain covert operations of the US intelligence community. The intelligence community confirms that Bush started working for the agency in 1960 or 1961, using his oil business as a cover for clandestine activities. Despite official disclaimers, there have been official FBI documents which refers to "Mr. George Bush of the Central Intelligence Agency, a claim the family still denies.
George Bush's role in both the Bay of Pigs invasion and Watergate is a very complex issue, too complex to cover here. It is safe to say that these events had Bush and Harriman written all over them.
Favoritism and the return of those favors play a key role in the Bush kingdom. For example it was Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney who in 1975 recommended Bush as Director of the CIA, a position that would strengthen the families hold on intelligence. George Will wrote "Ambassador Bush at the CIA would be the wrong kind of guy at the wrong place at the worst possible time." perhaps journalists of the time had more integrity.
We've seen the gathering of wealth by the elders of the Bush kingdom along with the favoritism and the payback of those favors. We touched upon the control of the intelligence community by George H and how it relates to todays events of George the Younger molding the CIA into the Christian Crusaders he wishes upon the world. What we're left to see is the takeover of the media by Bush and his followers such as Rupert Murdoch. That connection will complete the circle of global domination this family wishes to achieve, money, intelligence, and control of information. Hitler tried it, he failed. All we can hope for is failure for the Bush family.
