Help Run the Media Blockade On Election Theft News.

front:

back:

access this printout at-
http://www.vote-nobody.com/2004electiontheftpage.htm

Use this Broadsheet as a Tool To Run The Media Blockade Erected Against the Real News of Massive Election Fraud in 2004.

Pass it out widely to your friends, your family and the public.

America needs to be aware of the Evidence being amassed on the internet by highly motivated investigators of probable Voter Fraud and massive Election Irregularities.

At the moment, much of the Election Fraud Evidence is "trapped" in cyberspace because the major media outlets refuse or are afraid to report it. This has got to change.

You can help by simply printing this Election Theft Information Broadsheet out and handing it out.

Please help alert America.
Help release critical Election Theft information trapped in cyberspace out to the general public.

Go to- http://www.vote-nobody.com/2004electiontheftpage.htm

1. Right click on both the front and the back of the broadsheet graphic and Save both sides of the broadsheet to your computer.

2. Open it up in your graphics program to print.

3. The broadsheet format is printed on both sides. Print both the front and then the back on single sheets of 8"x10" paper. Make sure they are aligned right. i.e. front and back not upside down
to each other.

4. Print as many as you wish out.

PS #1: This broadsheet is my response to Bev Harris's call to Be Our Own Media on the DU meassage board a couple of weeks ago. I hope you find it useful

PS #2: I'm actively seeking to upgrade this handout. Does anybody have or know someone who has the .pfd writer software? I'd be willing to pay for the service. If so, my email addy is easy to find on my website? Let me know.

The "Waiting for the InterUrban", a Fremont iconic sculpture gets a frequent rehaul, often commemorating a birthday or an anniversay, but sometimes the overhaulers have a political message. I think I will add these to the concept. Thanks!

46. "God" and "Allah" are the same thing too
It's a common misconception that Christians and Jews worship "God" but Muslims worship "Allah."

"Allah" is just the Arabic word for "God." It's the same as Jews calling God "Yahweh." Or, for that matter, the French calling God "Dieu."

24. This is the approach we need
Let it spread a little, then get some PR savvy progressives to get the press to recognize it as an interesting story. The coverage will spread the word. It could run for a maybe a month if it gets legs.

Every minute of airtime of us and our message in a positive light is that much less airtime spent on their lies. Other than Fox, of course, the media is mostly a story addict. Feed them a good story and nurture it.

29. Make images public
One of my complaints with the Kerry campaign was the lack of online campaign material. Living in a Blue state, lawn signs and such were at a premium. Now if one could have downloaded a high-resolution image, signs could have been printed and distributed more widely. (During the primary season you could download Kerry posters in PDF but they disappeared after the convention.)

I registered at oliverwillis, logged on, but couldn't leave this comment there. Stimied?

38. It's answered....
http://www.oliverwillis.com/node/view/1320

1. These images are free for the taking. Print them out, put them on your blog, email them to a friend - whatever it takes to spread the brand.

2. Here is a blank version of the graphics for you to use. The text is a pay font - Adobe Caslon - but Century looks good too, and its free.

3. I'll make some PDFs suitable for printing sometime today

4. Brand ideas to keep in mind: this is a pro-Democrat ad campaign, which means that the goal is to tout a positive feature of the Democratic party. Now, you can do that by pointing out a shortcoming of the GOP, but without slamming them explicitly.

5. My idea is to build this thing to some point where our candidates can latch themselves on to the greater brand with ease - its built in cachet. This is a four-year (at least) campaign.
more..........

30. Brand Dems "Grass Roots" Campaign
Edited on Sun Nov-21-04 12:36 PM by shuffnew
Thanks for sharing this link and "grass roots" effort to get our Brand out! We should consider taking this to newspapers (for the graphics) and radio (for the text message), as buying radio time and news ads are not so costly as the right-winged tv channels anyway. TV channels prefer to give 'free advertisement" for the right-wing lunatics and paid advertisement to those corporate elite and pharmaceuticals. Advertising prescription drugs and cialis, etc. and talking 24/7 about the right wing loonies agenda is their mission!

Local Democrat organizations could pick a subject (brand) each week to advertise their message via paid ads in newspapers and high volume radio. Hear our message every day from around the US. Make the daily and weekly "brand" coordinate with areas of concern for the week (such as Kerry currently working on legislation to ensure all children having health coverage (rich or poor - ALL) - there's a good graphic (and associated text message) already for that one posted on Oliver's website).

We can't just wait until a critical election to advertise. We must spread the word every day of every week of every year!

Setting "Brands" is the start... now, let's get 'em out there every day! LET'S SHOW THE REPUKES WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY! WE ARE, INSTEAD, GROWING IN OUR EFFORTS!

:kick:

I wish this site would put the graphics to download. There's much we can do with making our "Brands" and like you say, use them to the hilt where the word gets out that our country needs a change of direction and we cannot wait until 2006 or 2008 to get started.

I've been thinking along the same line, only my idea is to BLOG everywhere Get the brand known.
post it notes we can stick in restrooms etc.
print outs to put on bulletin boards
posters to put on walls and in windows
bumper stickers
on apparel of course
Branded stationary
stickers for our mail

I printed some out and will carry them in my car so when I see a place like a laundromat, a bulletin board or something else where people are posting stuff I can just grab a thumbtack and "stick it to them" .

Blog everywhere ! Stick it to 'em ! Everyone isn't on-line and Everyone on-line doesn't blog Soooooo..........

52. Quick question
I love the idea and plan on buying or making a shirt out of a Brand. I did have a quick question. What does the 1794 date refer to in the Democratic party history? I checked the official site and I found this:
http://www.democrats.org/about/history.html
"Thomas Jefferson founded the Democratic Party in 1792 as a congressional caucus to fight for the Bill of Rights and against the elitist Federalist Party. In 1798, the "party of the common man" was officially named the Democratic-Republican Party and in 1800 elected Jefferson as the first Democratic President of the United States. . ."

It doesn't really get into any details that would explain the 1794 date.

80. hmm.
Actually, I had a similar thought with the use of the year. Back in the 19th Century, Democrats did build strength on a racist platform, 'tis sadly true.

The 20th century achievements of the Democratic party are why we are Democrats now.

93. Teresa Heinz Kerry:
http://www.dems2004.org/site/apps/nl/content3.asp?c=luI2LaPYG&b=131063&ct=159636

Various excerpts from her speech at the DNC, July 27, 2004:

I learned something then, and I believe it still. There is a value in taking a stand whether or not anyone may be noticing and whether or not it is a risky thing to do.

My right to speak my mind, to have a voice, to be what some have called “opinionated,” is a right I deeply and profoundly cherish.

Americans believed they could know all there is to know, build all there is to build, break down any barrier, tear down any wall. We sent men to the moon, and when that was not far enough, we sent Galileo to Jupiter, we sent Cassini to Saturn, and Hubble to touch the very edges of the universe at the very dawn of time. Americans showed the world what can happen when people believe in amazing possibilities.

In America, the true patriots are those who dare speak truth to power.

It is not a moralistic America they seek, but a moral nation that understands and willingly shoulders its obligations; a moral nation that rejects thoughtless and greedy choices in favor of thoughtful and generous actions; a moral nation that leads through the power of its ideas and the power of its example.

Together we will lift everyone up. We have to. It’s possible. And you know what? It’s the American thing to do.

98. PROP or not PROP?
It's great, yep. It's wonderful, sure. You can use many adjectives as you want to describe it. And I do believe that the Democratic Party is really the good choice to make when it comes to vote. Though - I may sound provocative - I find these images some kinda phony. Let me explain it..
I agree with the principles written on them. And I agree that to fight someone - politically - you have to use its same weapons. But this rhetoric is someway disturbing.
Choosing some issues instead of others and turning these issues just into values. Isn't that a bit propagandistic? But yes - I admit it - it's for "good purposes".
But can PROPaganda be considered good? Even when its aim is "good"? Where are your critical skills? I only can read of people saying "how great this is!".
Don't you think - and this should sound like a PROPosal - that there is more to do that stamp a few t-shirt with a donkey and some good "respectable", politically-correct sentences?

99. Let's not be so drastic
You set a point, but I would not be so drastic in judging this actions that are at least (like you said) for "good purposes".

When are we finally gonna see this support for Democrats in political results????
American citizens are truly missing some critical skills...

102. It's not exactly propaganda.
It's just some statements of what we've accomplished in the past and where we stand today. It's a good way to be visible in the community, and to hopefully start a dialogue with A) people who are afraid to admit they're Democrats or Democratic leaning B) people who can't make up their minds and C) honest Republicans who will debate on the issues without rhetoric (and yes they do still exist).

A lot of people don't delve into the issues the way bloggers and people on discussion boards do. They vote on gut feelings. If we can make it cool and trendy to be a Democrat I see no reason why we should not.

Shirts and slogans like this are non-threatening and approachable, and I doubt they'll turn off anyone except the staunchest Republicans, and they'll never vote for us anyway.

Propaganda implies streaching the truth or telling outright lies and then bludgeoning people's minds with them over and over. A t-shirt with a colorful design and a nice slogan is not propaganda.

101. Could be prop - but so is all advertising, by definition. So what?
According to Merriam Webster:

http://merriam-webster.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?va=propaganda

One entry found for propaganda.

Main Entry: pro·pa·gan·da
Pronunciation: "prä-p&-'gan-d&, "prO-
Function: noun
Etymology: New Latin, from Congregatio de propaganda fide Congregation for propagating the faith, organization established by Pope Gregory XV died 1623
1 capitalized : a congregation of the Roman curia having jurisdiction over missionary territories and related institutions
2 : the spreading of ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a person
3 : ideas, facts, or allegations spread deliberately to further one's cause or to damage an opposing cause; also : a public action having such an effect

Either of definitions 2 or 3 would apply here. So what? When Bounty tells you it picks up spilled Kool-Aid faster than Brand-X, that is deliberately spreading facts, information, and ideas to further the cause of the Bounty company, and is therefore, by definition, propaganda. Is that bad? Depends.

In this case, Oliver is pursuing the same strategy, "Branding" the democratic party and associating that Brand with the principles, values, and issues important to our Brand.

This is telling the sheep (i.e. all the stupid people that jumped on the "bush is a war hero because he landed on an aircraft carrier and said Mission Accomplished" and the "flip-flopper" bandwagons) what they need to know in a way they can understand - short sentences and small words. A long in-depth discussion of a complex issue, covering all sides and detailing the intricacies of it is just as propagandistic, and WAY less effective, since people stop listening after the third sentence. So the only difference here is that this strategy WILL WORK.

Sure, this is advertising, and therefore propaganda. So what?
