co-operation needed?! about working together:
wow.. so I´ve finally figured out how to start a thread :p

So here´s my question: I´ve been here for about two weeks now, and it´s pretty clear that there are a lot of people really angry about the election. So many of you want to do something which results in a lot of different ideas, which leads to ten people responding to idea 1, ten people responding to idea 2 and ten people responding to idea 3 etc. 49% of America doesn´t want Bush as their president, a lot of those people are still willing to fight. I´ve read ideas about starting a worldwide online protest with millions of people all around the world, I´ve read about inaugurating your own president saying: I do not acknowledge Bush as my president. I´ve read about boycotting some products and companies. You guys came up with some really cool ideas but within a few hours there were ten million new threads en 10 new ideas. And so another great idea was banned to page 12 with only a few replies. Don´t you think you could accomplish more if you started to work together on one plan instead of a lot of little groups working on different plans? You know.. maybe somebody comes up with a real good idea which could work all around America, and that could really have some impact. Maybe you´ll finally even get the media attention this election deserves. If you really want your voices to be heard maybe now is the time to start screaming together, and really make some noise.

It´s just the opinion of a girl living in Holland, seeing all this great Americans thinking: there are so many of them, there´s gotta be a way to make a difference if they just started working together.

Let me know what you think, I don´t live there, so maybe I´m wrong. I know it won´t be easy, but I think it´s worth a shot.

1. You're asking the herd of cats mentality
on DU to cooperate?
Your points are valid, but it will take the cooperation of Upper Management to keep any ideas in sight of the posters without them disappearing into the archives.

2. cooperation on DU would be a great start
and with a really good plan it could lead to cooperation of democrats anywhere in America? I´m not expecting some kind of miracle, but there are so many angry democrats willing to fight but may have no idea where to start. This is a great place to start if there really was a plan. Look at the number of ideas there are on this site, but none of those ideas will ever lead to anything if they dissapear in no time.

So cooperation of Upper management is necessary... And what does that mean? When does the Upper management decide to keep ideas in sight of posters? (I´m a newbie :p ) All it really takes is one thread that doesn´t disappear into the archives, where people can tell you about their ideas. That shouldn´t be too hard right? :s
