Are we going to get a signature this time from a Senator?
Results Not Final Until January

Although John Kerry conceded that George W. Bush won the election, a candidate's concession is not legally binding. Electors will be certified on December 7, which gives a presumption of legitimacy to the vote; but electors actually vote on December 13. These votes are not opened by Congress until January 6, so there is still time to challenge the results in key states such as Ohio and Florida. A challenge requires a written objection from one House member and one senator. If that objection is recorded, both Houses separate again and they vote by majority vote as to whether to accept the slate of electoral votes from that state.

Bush is claiming he has a mandate, planning to spend his "political capital." Curiously, virtually all of the so-called "anomalies" in the voting results favor Bush. The electors have not yet voted; the election results are not yet final. In the words of Yogi Berra, "It's not over until it's over."

3. I like you...
you're funny (in a ha-ha sort of way). Because, as you know, to be funny in the other way goes against Mien Fuehrer's wishes.

4. Then all of this recount stuff is pointless..right?
I mean, we could have 10000000000% verifiable evidence of voter tampering that would change the results in Kerry's direction and we wouldn't have that one signature from the Senate...

5. I think we would get one signature but the house vote
would go against us no matter what. All they need is a simple majority to re-install Bush. The repukes in congress would vote the party line and justify it in their scum bag minds that it was good for the country.

between party line politics and authentic vote counting.

If they choose party over people...well, that's not a reputation I would want to live with. If we lose either way at least we get some traction out of the deal.

this is pretty much a moot point.

8. Will there even be a signature in the House?

So far the strongest rhetoric is coming from a few activists, but members of Congress (both the House and Senate) have either been silent or rather reserved (calling for a recount or pointing out some problems). I have yet to hear one of them, from Dennis Kucinich to Joe Lieberman, say the word 'fraud' (unless they have done so in a dismissive manner).

11. Let's ask Senator Frank Lautenberg from NJ
He was retired and came back in a special circumstance to replace disgraced Robert Torricelli. So far he's shown some cajones for a man in his eighties, and since he does not care if he's re-elected, he may just be the one to ask.

13. What would be the outcome of Kerry taking the lead at the last minute?
Would the Big Red Ones just quietly let Kerry waltz into the WH without so much as a whimper? Would this be the healing America needs at this time? Does anyone think there would be trouble in the system?

18. John Edwards is a senator until Jan 20, right?
He would have no repurcussions by offering up his signature, as he'll only be around for about 2 more months.
