I remember not too long ago that it was under 1000. Now look at it, and who knows how many thousands of Iraqi's that were killed.

2. Fallujah isn't going to end it either
Once we're done in Fallujah, it's going to be some other city that wipes out 100 more. Then, it'll be another.

We're going to double 9/11's deaths. So, for those fucking crazies that think attacking Iraq is justified by 9/11, all we did was tear that wound open even more.

3. I have come to the conclusion that the majority of Americans do not care

period. You can tell them the numbers and they will resort to the meme that people are being killed for our "freedoms". As long as they are not connected, and remain detached in this manner, it will not make one bit of difference to them at all. They are happy and content, while the little people are dying. They have no connection at all. They view this as something happening over "there" and all the suffering of all the people as something that is simply viewed with a distracted and disconnected eye.

That says something about our citizens who now, according to another thread on DU actually approve of Bush by 55% according to a Gallop poll. He, the idiot savant, is protecting them by murdering tens of thousands of people in a war based on greed and lies.

It is the most bizarre thing I have ever seen in my life.

4. You are 100% correct.
Not enough of the American people care. I'll bet you more people talked about that damn fight at that basketball game this past weekend, than the war.

6. It is sad, but think back to March 2003. How many US casualties
would you have expected before the fall of Baghdad? Most experts predicted thousands.

Every one is one too many though.

7. It's more than rather sad
It's a travesty...and the majority of the American public couldn't even tell you the number. Like Wolfshit couldn't remember when he testified before congress.

To the sheeple when the government doesn't care, why should they.

Illegal war, illegal deaths, illegal maimings...and still they say 55% "of those surveyed" think the Evil Twig is doing a "good" job.

Sometimes I think I hate the American public.

8. All simply
expendable numbers. When an empire goes to war, that's all any soldier is to power.
