What was JohnKerry.Com all about? They sure as hell didn't listen to me! |

I don't know about you guys, but during August and early September, I kept sending e-mails to the suggestion box, urging them to tell their boss to get off that Goddamn windsurfer and start acting like he wanted to win the election. Even if my e-mail wasn't read, I'm sure that they heard from plenty of people furious at their inaction.
It's obviously to me that the Kerry campaign couldn't have been connected to reality. At the beginning of the campaign, I was excited because I just knew they wern't going to make Al Gore's mistake of "taking the high road", they had already learned the hard way the not fighting back can only bring defeat.
Boy, was I wrong. When I saw they had hired Bob Schrum, I felt sick. They had learned nothing and I don't think they give a shit about the opinion of rank and file. We're the ones that know how to fight, not the DNC.
I think we're going to be in the wilderness for quite a while. I hope after the Republicans melt down from their own hubris, and we come back, it will be accompanied by some ideas and a take-no prisoners attitude, or we'll never survive.

Thanks for posting. Hopefully, the Democratic leadership will learn from their mistakes.

All this talk about turning the boat into the enemy fire got me all riled up but when it came time to face the battle...white flags.
I can't believe Kerry wants another chance in 08

his campaign listened to grassroots folks. They were sure interested and courteous the one time I called. Like you, I sent messages and messages and got no response, unable to connect with any "person." Call them and got shuffled over to a voice mail.

ignored the grass roots period.
They didn't really want to know what anyone outside the beltway thought. They set up a website so folks could "think" they were part of the campaign so more money would roll in.
The "Good old Boys" controlled everything and laughed all the way to the bank.

7. I sent email after email never a response |

except when I complained about Donna Brazile and I got a response telling me to read her book and how hard she had worked. Took us months to get advertising material. It was a poor campaign in my opinion.
