Message to Christians "God is watching" the media is reporting Voter-gate
Edited on Mon Nov-22-04 09:22 PM by GingerSnaps
We do have a God and he is watching the liars, thief's and moral less "unpatriotic" Republican party.

Several passages from the bible that the Holy Rollers need to pay attention to.

"Thou shalt not lie"
"Thou shalt not steal"

"If only Hammurabi were alive today justice would be sweet" O8)

BTW God is watching the Christians in our party and he sees that we are the ones doing good. To all republicans "you still have time to repent so that you can go to heaven along with the rest of us". :D

2. Thanks
"All of us" Not just the selected few according to their standards because we don't discriminate in our party.

I just wish that we had some of the laws of Hammurabi back. If you stole something you got your hand cut off :D If you put someones eye out then your eye came out :D "If stealing an election away from another party makes them feel like their manhood is huge then they cut it....:D "If you smirk at someone then the smirk gets knocked off your face :D

:bounce:

They seem to miss that one a lot, too.

14. Thou shalt not kill is a GOOD one
It amazes me how so many of the Pro-lifers believe in the death penalty and war! Hypocrites.

4. What on earth are you talking about, and who are you to judge?
Edited on Mon Nov-22-04 11:14 PM by janx
This kind of reactive politics makes me sick!

Don't you DARE attribute what you feel towards all Christians. And don't you DARE mess around to try and scare people about the separation of church and state.

How ignorant are you?

Thanksgiving is approaching, and we celebrate that because some people were in such a quandary as to have to EXIT their country, because they were being persecuted for their religion according to the CROWN.

We free Americans (or those who remain) should pray times two this Thanksgiving.

7. I agree it was sarcasm
But it was truthful.
The GOP claims to be the "party of God," yet they stop at nothing, including the loss of their beloved "morals" to "win" elections, including gossip-mongering, stealing and, perhaps, worse.

15. YOU should pray for the American Indians!
What is the shit about a "free America"? Our forefathers stole America from its true owners.

And ever since they fled from Europe where they being forced to believe in a religion they didn't believe in they have been trying to FORCE their religion on the rest of us!

17. wow, gigantic brush you've got there
First of all Native Americans never believed they OWNED this land, so why do you? That is a whole other debate. We would agree that we were land grabbers and did many horrible things to the native people so lets not bother going there.

The other thing is...I'll bet you have never actually had someone try to force their religion on you. The who fled europe and set up religious communities here are also the same one who, several generations later, gave you the separation of church and state.

No one is more disgusted with the radical religious right than I am. I am about as militant a feminst as exists on this board. But I am also kind of tired of the equal and opposite crusading on the non religious left.

21. I have been forced upon
by the religious right! And tormented by them also after I joined and became "saved". I've seen billboards down here depicting flames and horror with "Those whos name were not written in the book were cast into the fire.....Jesus's own words (something like that)

I realize that anyone can rent a billboard but I think that is SOOOO incredibly tacky and MEAN to little chilren - especially Jewish and other children are not born into a "born again" family.

I talked on another board about how I suffered OCD and panic disorder in my late teens and twenties. The crap these people fed me - especialy about the devil only made my condition much worse. I went to a Southern Baptist college and it was filled with these Christians that thought they were better than everyone else. I tried with everything I had to be like them but I was SICK. "Defeated in Christ" was one of the terms one woman used to describe me.

I just got another one of those prayer emails that has this quote on the end: Jesus said: "If you are ashamed of me before the Father I will be ashamed of you before the Father" Now tell me that is not trying to opprress and SCARE people into their religion - not to mention scare them into not forwarding the emails! (I never forward them. I ocassionally reply to ALL and tell them what I think)

19. What does it matter
Because THEY were the ones that were here when we got here. It was their land and their place and we stole it from them.

22. So were mine
But I really resent the people who say this is a Christian country and should be run on Christian "values". As if "Christian values" are better than than the values of other religions. We are supposed to be a melting pot not a theocracy.

23. I agree with you on the point about accepting all beliefs
I just have a problem with the guilt trip that is shoved down our throats over what people did to other people well before our time. Yes, learn from mistakes, but don't keep living them.
We have to learn to accept other cultures and recognize that we are all different if we ever want peace.

10. I like the
"God is Watching" idea for a bumper sticker (with other bumper stickers on the car, e.g., anti-war, anti-*). People with clear consciences will like the bumper sticker ... and people with guilt on their conscience may be forced to think a bit.

16. FLASH BULLETIN! Blogger calls march on Fox NOW!

Combined protest against Fox and the rigged election —

The objective is specifically to challenge the wall of silence on the rigged election by news outlets like Fox and make a breakthrough —

Please spread this around, check it out and kick it —

A blogger has posted an extremely detailed, specific call to protest the rigged election AND the suppression of the truth ABOUT the rigged election by Fox News — a combined event mass march protest to be held in New York City — AT — Fox headquarters on 6th Avenue —

Main protest chant —

“Rupert Murdoch, tell the truth! Fascists rigged the voting booth!”

Nobody thinks of marching against a news organization in the streets. This is going to be a shot heard round the world.

Very comprehensive protest plan with very helpful travel details, the works —

See blog on this,

“A Call To March On Fox —

For refusing to tell the truth about the rigged election!” —

Discussion thread in General Discussion Forum — please help keep this kicked —

“A Call To March Against The Rigged Election”

Please spread these links around to help us organize this.

Please join that discussion there and help keep it kicked. Marching on Fox starts at post 117. But read the whole discussion. And read the blog. Discussion also discusses an earlier blog on marching against the rigged election and media. Second blog being discussed is on a specific, detailed call to march on Fox specifically as a key initial part of this protest against the rigged election. Fox is a key ENABLER of the rigged election. They’d never get away with election rigging on such a vast scale if it weren’t for news suppressers/distorters like Fox. Read both blogs.

Tremendously detailed comprehensive blog —

It gives the exact location in New York City of all of Rupert Murdoch’s empire, New York Post, Fox News, News Corporation (Murdoch’s big parent company — it owns almost everything else he’s got) — all of that — it’s all in a single building on 6th Avenue between 47th Street and 48th Street in mid-Manhattan. Murdoch’s own office is in the building too. We can be chanting against him right outside his window. All their offices are not on very high floors either — as low as the second floor — they’ll see and hear us and have to pass us on the way in. All those blow-hard Fox talking heads lying about the election — we’ll be in direct shouting matches with them as they come and go. And Fox itself is on the SECOND Floor. How good is their studio soundproofing in there????? Everybody at Fox is going to be bitching that they can’t get any work done. There’s no way they can hush this up.

Since it’s a vicious circle — news organizations like Fox suppress our protests, making them seem futile, therefore the proposal is to combine objectives and protest Fox AND the rigged election TOGETHER right outside Murdoch’s building and tie the two evils together — “Murdoch suppresses the truth about the rigged election!” — and invite other New York news organizations, many of whom DETEST Murdoch, to cover it. (You didn’t know New York news people and news executives hate Murdoch? Blog goes into that a lot.)

Blog has many links to anti-Murdoch resources and video of Bill O’Reilly telling everybody to shut up, shut up, shut up, over and over. What a sewer rat! Right on camera! He looks really mean and drunk in one of the film clips. Jack Daniels? And he’s on camera hotly lecturing us, “It is our duty as all loyal Americans to shut up.” The video nails him good — and Fox. Blog gives other video links too.

Tired of being told to shut your trap? Open it. March against Fox and the rigged election in New York City.

But the idea is to put it all together, to protest and denounce Fox outside their offices for leading the COVER-UP of the election heist. It’s a shot across the bow to the rest of the media that they better start telling the truth about the election, or they’ll get protests like the one at Fox. All the national news media are based in Manhattan. They can’t say this protest was too out of the way to get to.

Blog also has links to downloadable anti-Fox flyers, petitions and other resources against Fox that could be distributed at the protest march.

Blog goes into tremendous detail about the strategy, the advantages of starting protests in New York as opposed to other cities (huge liberal population would augment people coming from out of town), and it’s the news media capital of the world. Very friendly terrain. New York Democratic congressmen are demanding investigation of the stolen election. No rednecks in the population or the government, no paranoid security apparatus like you have in D.C.

Blog includes complete “mother lode” total orientation guide to using New York subways with downloadable maps you can enlarge, how to use mass transit to get from Amtrak’s Penn Station to the march, how to use mass transit to get from the airports to the march.

Let’s make it happen!

Keep kicking that thread so everyone will hear of this!
