What happened after the SCOTUS stopped the Florida recount and Bush stole office. My only source of news at the time was MSM. I recall something being released stating Bush won after the recount was completed.
What really happened?

1. No the day the news consortion was to release their official count |

which showed Gore winning in 5 out of seven scenarios including statewide in Fla (he lost asking for a recount of three counties but won statewide) just happened to be September 11 and we were all too busy watching our own citizens turned into bombs that day...so it barely made a blip in the MSM

4. yet all the headlines said |

'Bush would have won' ... which only applied to one or two unlikely scenarios. IIRC a recount of votes in four largely Democratic counties that Gore was criticized for proposing would have resulted in a Bush win, hence the headlines; a total recount of all counties would have resulted in a Gore win.
