Majority give * good approval ratings
If this doesnt prove how CRAZY and DUMBED DOWN people are then I dont know what does!!! :puke:

(CNN) -- Fifty-five percent of Americans like the way President Bush is handling his job, while the approval rating for his Iraq policies is slightly lower, according to the first full CNN-USA Today-Gallup poll following the November 2 presidential election.

Responding to whether the United States made a mistake in sending troops to Iraq, 47 percent said yes, and 51 percent said no.

Sixty-one percent of those polled said they feel offensives in Falluja and elsewhere will make Iraq better.

Bush's "win". If they weren't approving of Iraq before he "won" they certainly wouldn't be now after the bloodbath in Falujah.

edited to add.

4. Yeah I know
Impossible to believe this "poll" like the other one giving CondoLIESza over 60% approval.

However CNN will repeat it over and over and many will think it is true.

5. Dueling Polls! NYT/CBS: Americans Show Clear Concerns on Bush Agenda
You know, I just don't know what to make of polls anymore. The CNN polls seems to be more favorable to Bush (as usual).

But, on the other hand, the CBS/NYT seems to have a slightly different feel. I love the title of the article!

My favorite quotes:

"By 48 percent to 40 percent, respondents said they believed four more years of a Bush presidency would divide the nation more than it would unite it."

(snip)

"Americans now have a better opinion of the Democratic Party than of the Republican Party: 54 percent said they had a favorable view of Democrats, compared with 39 percent with an unfavorable view. By contrast, 49 percent have a favorable view of Republicans, compared with 46 percent holding an unfavorable one."

Now THAT was a surprise! :wow:

The New York Times' interesting write-up (reg required - you know the drill):
http://nytimes.com/2004/11/23/national/23poll.html?hp&ex=1101272400&en=3ea63a4e6a76d17d&ei=5094&partner=homepage.

The full poll is also available on the site. After reading it, I'd say Americans are suffering from cognitive dissonance in a bad way. Question after question where the majority disapprove of *, and yet they still voted for the guy and feel he was elected legitimately.
