WH refuses to release Alberto Gonzales' middle name?! |
|
Heard on Democracy Now this morning. Alberto Gonzales rprefers to use the initial "R".
Now, a nominee for Attorney General refusing to disclose his middle name is completely normal to be sure.
Yeah.
I wonder what is behind HIS thousand-dollar curtain of blue velvet?

9. As in Bee Bee Rebozo? That was Richard Nixon's KKKarl Rove... |
|
...but Bee Bee was less ridiculous about political dirty tricks than Rove.

11. Well, Bebe wasn't really a WH insider - just a fanatical Nixon loyalist |
|
Haldeman (along with Ehrlichman and Mitchell) was Nixon's Rove.

I was merely attempting a humorous linking of Nixon to Bush via a hidden Latino name. I was not suggesting that Gonzales might actually have a Cuban name.
Many of the other responses are in a somewhat humorous vein. (I don't think anyone is suggesting his name is REALLY 'Reacharound' or 'Ricky Ricardo' for example. Incidentally, Ricky Ricardo was another Cuban.)
I can see where someone's humor meter might need to be recalibrated. :eyes:

10. I understand that is true. |
|
Also in Japan, where my soon to be nephew will have a middle name. But, Alberto Gonzales DOES have a middle name, and refuses to disclose it. Which, of course, is perfectly normal. (close curtain)

16. In Hispanic countries many have more than one middle name, for instance |
|
someone might be called,
Alberto Rosario Ramiro Carlos Jacinto GONZALEZ ______________ and you are right the ___________ being the mother's maiden (or last name).
So ... what hides behind the refusal to reveal the complete "R" name in Albert R. Gonzalez's name... a girlie name like "Rosario"? or would a search on Alberto-whatever-the-R-stands-for Gonzalez reveal some hidden DUI, Domestic Violence, or other criminal record.
TRANSPARENCY, TRANSPARENCY, TRANSPARENCY...nothing that the goons can afford, they like to live in the cave of darkness; it is the only way they can survive.

that the WH is hiding something? Oh, my goodness. That's not very "moral" now is it? They shouldn't hide things from us, we're the trustful, God fearing, law abiding citizens who voted him back into office. A dishonest politician....I've never heard of such a thing. LOL:puke:
