3. I love to play and discuss many sports. I have frequently

encountered the phrase, "If you aren't cheating, you aren't trying". Most of the time it is said in a lighter vein; but after looking around me I realize that in sports, business and indeed, life, many people seem to believe it and follow it as a credo. Consciously or sub-consciously. So, yes, I think that for a lot of people, lying has become an American value.

5. Actually Lying Is Fine By Them

There is no commandment that says "thou shalt not lie' and if you're doing it for "good" or a "good reason", it's more than OK.
