I wonder if they would then be classified as "incoming missiles" and be shot down by star wars....

2. If he gets out of his armored car at all it will be a big surprise. |
|
There will be no walking down the street for him on Inauguration Day.

5. I don't think he walked the last time either |
|
After the pelting of his limo with the eggs. I'm thinking there will be a run on eggs in union stores on the day of the inauguration....

7. I think the opposition is going to be smaller but more intense this time |
|
There will probably be more eggs thrown and more people arrested, but fewer demonstrators overall. Unlike 2000, Bush enters the whitehouse with an aura of "legitimacy" this time around. There will likely be huge numbers of fundamentalist church congregations bussed in from Virginia to form a buffer between the parade route and the "free speech zone".
This inaugural will rightfully be seen as an opportunity for the reactionary religious voting bloc to flex its populist muscle in a show of numerical force. I would certainly take advantage of it, if I were Falwell Inc. It's an unparalelled chance to play up their reputation as the perceived "king makers".
I won't be too surprised if things get real ugly, Ron Artest style, between frustrated liberals and jubilant fundies at some point during the festivities.

90% Kerry voters. I hope a lot of them are out there to give the pasty hordes of Left-Behinders a REAL warm welcome. Wish I could be there.

8. Will they even allow people near the street? |
|
Or will they get known supporters lined up for a photo shoot and quickly run back to the White House?

I didn't bother watching the inaguration. I thought people were saying that they'd show up, then turn their backs on * as he passed by. I think that's a great idea!

14. Well, I DID watch it in 2000, but |
|
all I have is American TV, so obviously they didn't show the egging! Maybe this time there will be some stuff that is so outrageous that even our whore media can't cover it up.
