Anyone hear the Iraq War veterans on C-SPAN this AM??

There were some interesting calls. And they were not cheerleading for the war. I was surprised to hear some of the comments coming from some senior NCOs and officers. One Captain, in particular, was quite anti-war in his comments. He was a chaplain from Colorado Springs. He thought the war was a mistake and there was a lot of death and destruction people here do not hear...Very interesting...

1. not that interesting, the biggest cheerleaders for the war are

chickenhawks like bush and cheney. and even those who are not chickenhawks but support it are more likely to question it or be critical of it.

2. Brian Lamb asked one of the vets about the killing he saw....

He said you "just get used to it"...Lamb seemed to be somewhat taken aback by that comment, I thought.

Talking about how they would not let him get out when he was supposed to and instead are sending him back to Iraq for another year?? He was pissed!
