Last week’s events in Little Rock had less to do with a library retrospective of the Bill Clinton years than a campaign launch for the prospective presidency of Hillary Clinton.

Doubt it? Then why was it Hillary, not Bill, who appeared on all the talk shows? It’s his library. But it’s her candidacy. So she did all the softball TV interviews, not him — reminding voters of her availability for 2008 while seeming to talk about the ’90s.

The timing is perfect: Democrats demoralized by John Kerry’s defeat get to behold hope for the future.

It also re-launches Hillary as a red state kind of girl. Needing to live down her recent New York pedigree, Mrs. Clinton gets to renew her identification with Arkansas so she can avoid the label of bi-coastal liberal.

4. No one can go through that library and still think Bush is

a decent President. It is a strong condemnation of the Republicans and reminds people what a good President is like. I saw it earlier this week and enjoyed it very much. I wish all voters were forced to go through it and learn something the corporate media doesn't tell them.

5. I admire Hillary in so many ways, the least of which being

that she must be such a forgiving soul to get past her husband's shenanigans. I'm pretty sure that even though I am supposedly a pacifist, my sweet hubby would have been found strangled if anything that humiliating and public had ever happened to me.

I know people will be cynical and say that she just stayed to hang on to their mutual political clout, etc. but you'll NEVER convince me of that -- a woman scorned and all that. No way! She still loves him, or she just would have left him.

That said, I cannot support her for President -- it would rally the Repubs against her and the Democratic Party like nothing else.

that President Clinton recently had heart surgery and may not really be up to all those TV appearances??? I didn't think he looked or acted too well on the opening day of his library. I don't think President Clinton is feeling that good yet. But then some ignorant repuke toe sucker like Morris wouldn't think of anything like that,would he? He's too busy on Fox with his Bill/Hill smears. Nothing new there. I wish those people would just go away.I can't understand why people on the left still watch that same tired old worn out garbage.
