C-Span is making me sick
The jackass that is on right now is sitting with a large smirk on his face like he is so happy that the * supports are going against the UN. He cuts off the anti * callers and he sits and smiles when he likes what the rethug callers are saying.

C-Span is just as biased as any of the other channels.

Can we all stage a call in day when this smirky jerk is on? :grr:

3. Exactly!
Why also is CSPAN basing their main question from an article written in the Moonie Times? I fear that CSPAN is slowly turning into another mouthpiece for Bush Co.

Second to them quoting article out of that smarmy "Drudge" site, the use of the Washington Times as a REAL news source is preposterous.

Man <sigh>, let's all hunker down and be kind to each other because the MSM is going to sell their kool-aid to the masses. That is, it's going to have to get real painful for the average lemming American before the majority of the population STOPS believing our media and thinks for themselves.

God Help America is right. :(

5. We have to start fighting back
You have to hit a republican in the pocket before they will take notice.

Massive cable and newspaper subscription cancellations for months might do it.

7. Yes, positive steps ...
I'm not resigned to failure and believe that many of us are doing what we can, i.e., local Democrats, boycotting large commercial corporations.

However, it's going to have to HURT the masses before any real change to be realized. The Ukrainian people know how to fight because they have NEVER been spoiled like us blessed Americans. It won't be until at least a year, maybe more before a few influential Americans BEGIN to sound off.

Yes, we should all do what we can but until the masses are stirred, we should also not become despondent at lack of impact. It's going to be difficult to have our voices heard.

Right now we are the Corporate States of America until massive unrest checks the power (regulates) of these controlling entities. They pull all the strings ... prepare for a long cold winter of fear and disinformation to the American masses.

9. Over the last 4 years they have used Drudge & Moonie Times more and more
and yet every time they quote the NYT, some freep calls and screams at them for BIAS !!!

Bear in mind too, that FOX shares space with them in the same building, so they are always a ready source of "guests" whenever they need one..

8. On the bright side...
Most people who are into politics enough to watch CSPAN pretty much have made up their mind ideologically. Hence the impact of bias isn't as severe there as it would be on some place like CNN where lots of "undecideds" watch. That is to say, nobody watching CSPAN is likely to convert to conservatism just because of favoritism towards idiot rightwing callers.

11. I've thrown in the towel on C-Span, too
In September I stopped watching all cable news. On November 3rd I canceled Fox News and MSNBC, dropping about 60 channels from my subscription.

I no longer bother with MSM. I will watch the Daily Show sometimes. I watch Link TV and Free Speech TV and HBO. That's all. I don't need anymore bullshit in my head from the propagandists.

In the fall I tried several times to call into C-Span and could never get through. Now I can no longer watch it.

12. Did you catch the National Sales Tax segment the other day?
They are so far right, they might as well be a part of Fox News.

15. did you see the military call-in yesterday?
I was shocked. Almost everyone that called in was against BushCo and the war. They were all military that have served in Iraq. Clear difference between the Officers opinions compared to enlisted opinions.

16. I caught part of it.
He kept trying to steer them back on the Pro-Bush military stance that they've adopted.
