Did Bin Laden with those 4 planes strike a mortal wound to the USA? That wound causing such a massive loss of blood and thus a resulting lack of oxygen to the brains of so many.
His accomplices, our own government and their media seizing that vulnerable moment to create a fog that galvonized us in that moment by showing the impact over and over and over and over-again and again and again . it was a moment that we all felt united? did it serve to do just the opposite? did we think or react?
They control the white house, senate,house,judiciary,the military and the media.The checks and balances are gone and so many don't see. We need to take action. We who see, who aren't blinded by the fog of fear and faith need to be the checks and balances.
How do we do this when we are the minority and when
they turn a deaf ear to us? If we don't take action bin laden has indeed inflicted the lethal wound to american democracy.
We need to make them see and hear us. We are all americans. We all suffered on 911. We have so many things in common. If we keep speaking, writing, yelling for democracy they will hear and see.
Instead of putting all our eggs in one basket i think each and every one of us needs to tell our representatives, senators, governors and the media that we are the checks and balances.That we are watching what they do or don't do. When they act in favor of their own interests over the interests of the people of the USA that is treasonous and we will hold them accountable.
We will be standing there in Cuyohoga, Franklin, VOLUSIA counties, on college campuses,in minority areas and wealthy areas come not just 2008 but in 2006. We will do all we can to make sure what happened in the ukraine???NO!-the usa will not happen again and each
vote will be counted.As Bush said a verifiable vote is a system of voting that works.
They are not acting in our best interests when they take away what we've earned,when they continue to drive up the budget deficit, when they diminish the quality and availability health care,when they give away our jobs,when they spend enormous amounts of money to finance a war against a sovereign nation(in doing so killing thousands of people) that could have been used to further job creation,improve health care, environmental conservation and education. Funding destruction rather than funding our future and our children's future is necrotizing american democracy. We will not allow them to destroy America.
If we don't act Bin Laden has won.
