2. agree
I agree. And it's not "using" the troops by doing so.

There's nothing worse than the preception of a "clean" war.
Show the cowards what it's all about, what their $#((*!!! church is supporting by telling people to vote for bush.

3. Word.
Where can we start a repository of such photos so that protestors may use them?

Paying, of course, proper mind to prevailing intellectual property rules.

11. I disagree
I have been to the planned parenthood with my lady in the past.
And even though she was there for pills or test non pregnancy related.
We were bombarded by nutbag prolifers wielding signs of fetuses and accusing her of killing her baby.

Waving signs will have no effect but gross out the passerbyes and not all of them voted or like the chimp as not all women going to planned parenthood are seeking abortions.

Protest but do it in as sane as a way as possible...You want to make people agree with you not FREAK them out...

Besides showing Iraqi wardead will piss of many who will automatically think "well what about our dead" "they attacked us on 911"(we know this to be a lie since it was osama not Iraq) but non the less educating them is a far better tactic..

Just my humble opinion

12. Kurds
The right wing already plasters pictures of mountains of dead kurds - didn't seem to have much of an effect on most people.

I think most people are just desensitized to violence - we're exposed to so much of it on tv/movies and even sometimes in the streets.

13. Yes--and no.
I've thought about this a lot and while I agree we need a more accurate portrayal of what's going on, I think we need to be a bit delicate about it. I'm old enough to remember Viet Nam (barely), and what sticks in my mind is the scenes of the coffins being returned. That was a reality I still can't shake.

Of course, we DO need to see some of the results of the violence, but the danger is, like the wacko anti-choicers learned, is that it can turn people off as well.

And, while I appreciate the sentiment (blood on your hands) I think to a degree it's unfair. Many still operate under the delusion that the occupation is going well, that few have died and that few are returning with horrendous injuries. What's happening there really ISN"T their fault, although they chiose to continue it.

But we won'
We need to show the brutal reality, but it won't happen in the MSM.

14. I agree.
We should have done this at every Bush rally.

We sometimes have too much sensitivity for our own good. At least I assume that's why we didn't do this.
