1. she works for a law firm
that defends Tobacco companies. Same firm that Bob Dole works for. FYI.

2. I could see that.
She is not going to run for public office, and she has a
lot to get back at Rove for.

I think she would gut the twit.

4. She's a lot like a lawyer I used to work for
Wicked smart.

Could cut anyone off at the knees without breaking a sweat, all the while exuding nothing but southern charm.

7. I doubt that Ann Richards can seriously stand up to the DLC'er's
Anyone not capable or willing to fight the DLC's death grip on the DNC should NOT get the job!

14. I love Ann Richards, but she's no one to consider for the DNC.
The gubernatorial campaign where she lost to Shrub was one of the worst campaigns I've ever seen, and her lobbying work for the death industry has ended her viability as anything but a clever progressive pundit (we could really use such a clever pundit and this is where she could do the most good).

20. She is 71 and still out there kicking
She would be perfect as well as Dean. If she doesn't head the DNC she should definatly be up there on the board.

16. Great idea* It would be nice to have a woman who knows the Democratic
party and what is could and should be.

She could really rally the troops. Dean certainly could as well.

18. Better than sliced bread
Ann Richards would be the best to run the DMC...She is a fighter, and most of all.. she hates the Bushes(family)...That would include Jed, who will run in 2008..
