Hey, alright! Edwards coming in second!
So...he's got a real positive message. And he's gonna fight for middle class America. He's also for health care for as many Americans as possible, although he's for lower taxes for everybody but the richest of the rich. He voted for the war, but he actually doesn't think that we should have gone ahead with it without more of our allies. The UN should have mattered more when it comes to the war. And, although he voted for it, Edwards also opposes the Patriot Act. True Americans help to keep the rights of the individual safe!

John Edwards is gonna fight for YOU!

3. Edwards seems nice and civil and all, but
"And, although he voted for it, Edwards also opposes the Patriot Act."

WHY did he vote for things that he later opposes? Maybe he should've looked into the matters more seriously when he voted? He should have voted NO for the war if he wasn't sure if UN or other nations would help us and if that was the deciding factor.

This is what is driving me mad. Dean says so many things that he has to retract/explain later and all this flip flopping by Edwards and how about Clark on his stance on war, flip flop! You can't swing republican voters or swing voters with this kind of tactics!

Sorry for my rant, but I wish at least one of the nine now eight would just stand up for what he believes in and STICK TO IT! (This is not a personal attack against you or anybody else who endorses the above candidates, just frustrated, that's all.)

4. Psst.
They all voted for it, and they all oppose parts of it that are bad and want to keep the parts that make sense.

5. ARGH!
They should have voted NO if they didn't believe in the whole thing. I am new here and sorry for speaking up so bluntly, I am concerned about politics and where it is going.

6. No, Edwards cast the right vote.
No bill is perfect. But at the time, without the knowledge of how Ashcroft will enforce the law and without the knowledge that there will be major terrorist incidents on American soil since 9/11... it's the right vote. Not a perfect one, but the right one.

7. agreed! we need someone who can vote what they believe!
a member of congress who changes their mind AFTER voting, is no good for us. they can talk all they want, but its the vote that counts.
