Everyone should watch Halifax Speech

First, I think it is awesome that the protests in Halifax appear to be as large as the ones in Ottawa. Now to the point - they are saying that in this 30 minute speech from Halifax, Bush is going to outline for the world his foreign policy agenda for the next 4 years.

1. They don't just have a reporter at the White House - they have an entire corporation at the White House.
2. They report crap to us and news to the rest of the world.
3. They were serious about news at one time - they sold their soul for a piece of the right wing leak and propaganda show.

Many people have stopped watching, but I'm glad for the people who do because we can't let them get away with misusing and abusing OUR AIRWAVES.

fyi There was an interesting half hour on C-Span with a native born U. S. citizen, now Canadian reporter. She was wishy washy to some extent, but the calls were great.

I protested Gulf War I in Los Angeles, the local news reported that there were 25-30 thousand people at one of them, CNN reported that there were 500 or so, at the time (memory fails now) I could have told you the names of 500 people that were there and I certainly didn't know everyone.
