This could actually be very good for Dean |
|
The opposition to him is reinvigorated and stands an excellent chance. Dean's scrappy and he'll now need to fight for the nomination. A sense of entitlement and inevitibility is bad -- witness Kerry's whose campaign seemingly imploded last summer b/c of it and has only been able to make a comeback now that he's dropped that.
Certainly this means that the nomination is truly up for grabs. But Dean still stands a good chance of getting it and if he gets it now he'll have had to fight for it. He'll be hardened and a far stronger challenger if he does.
Just my words of encouragement to Dean supporters. And remember, we're all Democrats.

1. Watch for the press attacking Kerry now. |

And Kerry wasting precious days savoring his victory in Iowa.
