Next terror attack - NONE of this "we're all Americans" shit. OK?
While the fires are still smoking we should be blaming it on Bush.

Anyone agree?

5. What cracks me up
is that they would have gone for Kerry's scalp if a terror attack happened. With Bush, it will only add to his "legacy" of great leadership.
The one thing Kerry should have said was "Bush does not have the definative handbook on how to fight terror. It just happened on his watch."

9. We can agree all we want, but unfortunately, the vast majority
will jump right back on the bandwagon.

Hell, I didn't jump on it last time. Welcome to the 9%!

12. Will properly give credit where credit is due.
While it would also be tempting to throw it up into the face of all those ignorant Bush backers and blame them we'd be no better than the rhetoric the Bushites spewed after 9/11.
I just wonder if King George will still try to scapegoat someone else again or the GOP will bring out the old "Well, Clinton know about these threats and did nothing. So we just inherieted the problem like the economy" bullshit again.

14. I will blame Bush loudly and repeatedly.
I will also point-out that it was most likely Blue territory that was attacked. Blue counties. Blue precincts.
Blue citizens, who voted for more intelligent anti-terror tactics.. not empty rhetoric and retarded posturing.

Terrorists don't attack Red turf.
They don't attack the Wal-Mart on the outskirts of a one-traffic light cow town.
They don't attack the honkeytonkin' bar out on highway six.
They don't attack the little ol' antique store on the town square.
They don't attack the farmers' market off the square.

They'll attack skyscrapers in Blue territory.
They'll attack stadiums in Blue cities.
They'll attack the supermalls in Blue turf.
They'll attack the public venues that Blue citizens frequent daily.

Of course, Red Turfers - having the luxury of never really wearing a target on their backs on a daily basis - don't want to admit this.

When the attack comes, I'll be sure to direct my first words to the terrorists.

But after that, I'll have harsh words for the RedLand Dwellers who enabled policies that left Blue Turf vulnerable.

18. Bush only concerns himself with the states who supported him.
Here's even more sobering statistics:
According to a 2003 study by the Public Policy Institute of California commisioned by Time there has been a major descrepancy in the distribution of state Homeland Security funds.
As an example, red Alaska and North Dakota got twice as much money as blue New York (the most likely place for another attack). Red state Wyoming, where the biggest crime is likely bored teens tipping cows, recieved FOUR times more funds than California, another blue state.

So it's true that security funding is more likely motivated by partisian considerations that favor secure states at the expense of vulnerable ones.

Even in this Repub stronghold I'm trapped in, our county's inept sheriff-for-life, another repub who was re-elected again by voters who fear change more than a piss-poor record, recieved generous funds for media percieved threats. News reports abounded after 9/11 about the need for the highest security as if Osama was plotting his next move and deceiding "I'm going to Disney World!" and the county, with alot of high repub connections pushed it through. As if the SAMs in Cinderella's Castle wasn't defense enough.

Add to fact while we've all had King George forced upon us (again), Floridian blues have suffered double by also having his pumpkin head brother for two terms now. The entrenched repub mentality along with ballot fraud the media has softpedaled has been a losing proposition for change here.

16. I don't want to see Dems hugging Repubs and singing "Kumbaya"
How many times did Cheney say, "if Kerry wins, we'll be attacked?" If we get attacked again, I plan to rub this statement in the faces of every Bush votin' idiot.
