How about Max Cleland as the head of the Democratic National Committee? |

Cleland is not only an honorable, distinguished man, but he's perhaps a symbol of how the Republicans have defamed his reputation (and perhaps stolen his seat in the senate).
Max Cleland would be a constant reminder that the Republicans will stop at nothing to hold onto power. They will spit on a man who lost three limbs in Vietnam, while they extend the tours of duty of those in Iraq and cut their benefits.
In short, BushCo is a collection of some of the biggest fascist/pricks that have ever held the levers of power in this country. And who better to point this out than Max Cleland?
(I tried a variation of this posting earlier, but someone decided to derail the discussion into some kind of a racial/national-origin political discussion.)

2. How is Max Cleland, anyway? |

I know he was there for Kerry, and given his horrible experiences with the Rovian machine in 2002, I thought this election must have been really hard on him. Does anyone know how his spirits are?
