Edited on Fri Dec-03-04 06:26 PM by saracat
couldn't completely fund the Wa Recount. Why were they asking for contributions from us when Kerry just fattened their war chest to the tune of 23 million dollars plus another 13 million? Why does the report on this say she raised the recount mone from mostly online donors like us? How much DID the DNC kick in? Inquiring minds want to know.

2. I got an e-mail saying the same thing
that small donors had made it possible, and yeah why the fuck isn't the DNC paying for this.

I know Kerry gave $200,000 of his own money, and Dean worked through DFA and helped raise a lot of cash, so what about the DNC?

3. Coiuld be legal
but the other day at a DFA meeting I learned soethign I did not know...

State parties are independent at many levels from the national operation, and local parties are as well

We want to influence how they all work and make them sing from the same sheet of music, we have to take them over at all levels

So it is time we INFILATRATE The party... I am going to run for a local party office just to get new blood in there, they are a poor bunch... if you get my drift and we need to run the DLCers out

5. They better be paying some of it.
I contributed to them at their request specifically for the WA recount.

Not as much as Kerry did. Had to stay within my means.
