MSNBC Exit Poll - fascinating numbers
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3762614/

Edwards did very well with women. Dean did terrible with senior citizens (who love Kerry).

Endorsements impressed practically no one.

Dean did well with people who described themselves as "very liberal." Not too well with anyone else.

There's a lot more.

1. "Very liberal."
Surprising that Dean doesn't have more support here on DU.

4. That's Iowa for you
I a Dean guy, but not suprised he only pulled 18%. I am surprised at the early polls however.

6. Kerry cleaned up with the anti-war voters
34-24% over Dean. Looks like the IWR vote isn't held against him...

7. Endorsements - Much ado about nothing
I think the many Dean endorsements actually backfired. Expectations were raised to a point where Dean was almost annointed way before anybody voted.

Voters don't like that...

8. Nothing about the damage done by negative campaigning?
I think the negative ads hurt both Gep and Dean
