Kerry and Ohio
I must say I do like the language that Kerry is using regarding the recount. Seems like they may be learning how to play the game by insisting that they are only ensuring that all votes are counted.

Thank god some Democrats are learning that, although an election is not to be cheapened, it definitely has its nuances at the edges of its being.

1. There is something else in play here, as well:
The communication of the fact that we shall be Fighting Democrats. The era of The Punching Bag Klowns has drawn to a close.

The grassroots will no longer stand for unrequitted comity.

2. I think that some want Kerry to be a cowboy
I do not want Kerry to come out like a cowboy and utter meaningless phrases to arose the masses at this point. There are so many nuances in politics that we, as laypeople, are not aware of but Kerry has played this game for a long time.

I prefer him to take it slow at this point, even though it's killing me! ;)
