If they vote it won't help them because the Shia out number them and Sistani says to the Shia, "vote". If the Sunni try to counter by voting they lose and likewise if they don't vote they also lose. They therefore have every reason to fight and sure enough thats what they are doing. If the US actually wants the violence to stop or even slow down someone better figure out a way so that the Sunni see a light at the end of the tunnel. Or are we into ethnic cleansing?
