1. If CIA is international, and FBI is national, The Intel czar would
coordinate the two in the event that Tommy Chong attempted to sell his bongs overseas.

Our security is on the march.

16. More ironic than that....
They were plexi bongs with a facsimile autograph from the druggie era guru, Tommy Chong......Who is quite old and unlikely to sell a huge quantity.

I doubt that they were marketed toward those that would actually use it to administer illegal substance.

it would be more valuable as a collectible in unused condition.

3. Actually, wouldn't that be the National Security Advisor's job?
You know, getting reports from the various intelligence agencies, discussing them with other high officials, using the information to improve "National Security?"

She did so well that she's been promoted.

4. It seems to me that this was previously the President's job
When we used to have an actual President. Intelligence heads brought info to the President, who then made decisions. Now that we have a president incapable of thought, analysis or decision-making, we need the czar.

5. True, they've done all they can
Right down to creating Nickelodeon versions of the daily briefings for the dipshit. If a bigass headline like

Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States

couldn't pierce his thick skull, it's hopeless to even try anymore.

15. that notion is so pre-Reagan!
Now that we have absolute idiots in the White House, thanks to Ronald Reagan, who seems to have started the trend, well of COURSE we need actual people to DO all the president's jobs for him.

Seriously, you wouldn't want Bush to actually OVERSEE anything, now, would you?

6. I agree
more bureaucracy isn't the answer. I guess having a Intel czar is a excuse for why nobodies head rolled after 911

10. Now the only question is, will we either have Stalinist or Nazi
style purges? Pick one - the BFEE loyalty-oath SS goon squads are being organized now.

11. Why are the House & Senate Dems pushing for this bill?
A group of Repubs in the House are holding it up, & making Dubya look like an early lame duck.

Why don't the Dems join them & vote against the bill, & hand Dubya a defeat?

I don't get it.
