At lest when it comes to NPR reporters who say that Christians should burn...

As I note on my blog today, how come it's hateful to say conservative Christians should burn, but it's OK for conservative Christians to say "God damn you?"

4. It's not virtue that protects these "christians" from critisism...

It's the slime of self-rightousness! Any critisism of them is proof to themselves of their own superior morality.

They've been mentally armored for such things:
1) If something good happens, it's a blessing
2) If something bad happens, it's a test of faith.

Overall, it's a well-rounded, two-millenium tested system. The first test was to bring down the Roman empire and plunge Europe into the Dark Ages. And now this devil is up to its old tricks again in the new world. We are better off not taking their stupidity as a sign of weakness. It is in fact a deep well from which they gather collective strength.
