Dean already blaming loss on negative ads
Typical Dean. He doesn't learn.

4. Yes, stop
but I guess he has to blame someone for the results. I still can not get over that he only received 18% of the votes.

I guess money isn't everything. A candidate needs more than one issue to run on to attract REGULAR hardworking folks.

But I am sure Dean will come out at leat #2 in New Hampshire.

7. There is a candidate-only thread tonight
Please post this stuff there. It bodes very poorly for your candidate that you would start the sarcasm/bashing tonight.

19. Not you, hon
I maintain a high level of respect for you, Cuban. I was agreeing with your post, and asking the original poster to move their gloating to the appropriate forum.

14. How long did we have to
suffer at the hands of some people on here? for months! like someone said, ye sow what you reap. i don't in any way begrudge kerry or edwards their victories. in the end we are here to defeat the scurge in the white house. BUSH is the enemy.

17. Sowing as you reap is something you might pay attention to
if you truly want to beat Bush, I wouldn't think you'd want to alienate potential supporters by continuing to bash them, especially in a thread that discusses the effects of negative campaigning.

2. In all fairness,
I would guess that his negative attack ads were at least partially responsible for his 3rd place showing. Hopefully, he'll remember that as he continues to NH.

3. I hope Kerry and Edwards keep it positive.
They've been doing a decent job recently.

16. You noticed that too huh?
I'm sure they have to of noticed that staying positive did them both the most good, Edwards has been pretty positive throughout and Kerry of late focused more positively and it gave them both the win.

The people saw positive issues and elect-ability first and foremost, they chose the ones with the best handle on what they considered to be most important to them and who they thought was the best choice to beat *

Tonights loser was anger and negativity.

And then there were none!

6. You reap what you...
And the people in Iowa didn't like it. Good for them! Some people should take their example.

13. As someone who has worked for Dean and lived in western Iowa
I think Iowans are sensitive to negative ads. The messages are effective and yet folks don't especially like it.

Looking at the poor finishes of 2 campaigns with arguably the best organizations, you have to wonder if they didn't beat each other into the ground.

15. "already" blaming?
what? do you expect him, when asked "why did you finish 3rd", to answer

"i can't answer that question for a few days, or someone will say i'm talking too early"

it's crap like this that did dean in- baseless personal smears

i think i just saw dubya's reelection staring me in the face tonight when i saw those two empty suits win with empty slogans like "we're about hope" "we bring people together", and the #1 vote getter "puppies are swell!"

18. He who lives by the sword...
He had fun doing aggressive spinning on everybody else and some nasty, below the belt attacks, so why should he whine when he gets hit back with it? I still won't forget that cockroached remark he made about Congress.
