Powell: Europe relations "will improve further when President Bush visits"
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=578&u=/nm/20041208/ts_nm/eu_usa_dc_1

"We are reaching out to Europe and we hope that Europe will reach out to us," he said in a speech acknowledging the war's deep and enduring unpopularity across the continent, where U.S. allies such as France and Germany opposed military action.

Making what is likely to be his last European trip as secretary of state, Powell cast the disagreement as a rocky spell in a sound relationship as he sought to pave the way for a fence-mending trip that Bush will make in February.

"Transatlantic politics has its blustery days but the weather eventually improves. It is improving as I speak and will improve further when President Bush visits," he said.

"We can handle the bumps and bruises ... that come along from time to time," Powell added, saying these "can be borne more lightly and they can heal more quickly than in less mature relationships."

5. No one is listening to him, least of all the Europeans. He is
still making a fool of himself. Still trying to make us think our pResident is in charge.

11. There you go.
Has anyone else noticed, Colon Bowel seems to have gone into overdrive. Now that the sands of the hourglass are running low, he's traveling everywhere, meeting with every known leader, I see his little quotes on the Yahoo news.

Enough already. You won't change your legacy, Colon. No matter what you do at this point. The matter is settled.

8. Yes, just after he zooms into Paris where "Mission Accomplished"
will be prominently displayed hanging from the International airport terminal and announces whom the US/CIA has chosen to be president of the newly organized Republic.

10. Just another fish tale
by the master story-teller. He's even using his hands to show just how big a whopper this one is.
