Are you that afraid of Dean..?

If Kerry came in third ...the last I would be doing is starting a "bash Kerry thread".

I'm wondering who in the heck is on these boards...let alone who voted tonight.

1. Kerry's campaign was in the trash--there were still Kerry bash threads
If people want to stir up another candidate's supporters, they will. Relative position has little to do with it, it seems. Anyway, Dean still has considerable advantages over Kerry in terms of $$, organization, etc.

3. Dean's supporter post is the only one with deletes on it
ANd I have seen at least one other post saying that DU is too anti-dean... it got deleted within seconds.

7. Some of the most supportive posts I've seen this evening about Dean
Edited on Mon Jan-19-04 10:33 PM by boxster
are from non-Dean supporters.

"who in the heck is on these boards...let alone who voted tonight."

Ah, yes, question the American voters. Just because you don't agree with the results in Iowa doesn't mean that the 70% of Iowans that voted for Kerry and Edwards are wrong....

Dean has dared to speak the truth about the Dem Party's sell-out and the pro-war cave-in of the other candidates.

The establishment has made it their mssion to stop him--because he is the only candiate who offers even a chance of real change in this country.

12. Thing That Kills Me Is That
everything that Dean is saying was considered gospel a year ago on DU. Not just the message, the tone. The party establishment and the attitude of compromise and soft-pedaling were anathema.

Dean has been successfully smeared with the active help of his fellow Democrats. We're back to the 2002 elections.

13. Great point Cthrumatrix***I think some people are so afraid of truth.
And being authentic. Many seem more comfortable with safe, easy, luke warm, blendable, steamrollable, malleable, moldable, functional, compliant, and safe.

Problem is, to play it safe at this time in the world is the least safe choice to make.
