Poll question: Who is the LEAST loathsome Republican presidential candidate? |
|
Yes, they all suck. But which one sucks the least?

Theodore Roosevelt.
Roosevelt in '08... since this current group of pugs wanna turn back the clock, there is something poetically symetrical about it.

...they all work for the wealthy and the absolutely most corrupt big money powers in the country.
P.S. I'm referring to all living republican public officials and even those who are now dead who served from 1950 forward. Even Ike Eisenhower pandered to the riches and although he coined the term "military-industrial complex" and issued America his warning, I believe that was self-serving and was meant as a way to preserve his place in the history books, but old Ike hob-nobbed with all of the military-industrial complex leaders of his day.

6. I said they ALL sucked. |
|
I hardly think that suggests being supportive of conservative ideals. Just curious about people's opinions as to relative ickiness. Personally, I wouldn't piss on any of them if they were on fire.

7. You're doing the GOP's work for them, using DU as their focus group. |
|
You don't think they have folks who lurk here too? Fuck em. Fuck this poll. Seriously.

8. Sorry Ocelot--I can't vote |
|
Each of those candidates comes with the same team. Just as Holbrooke, Rubin, etc would be part of the Dem. team no matter who won, ditto the repugs.
Not one of those people would vote for me.
Hey_and John McCain is a complete and utter fucked up sell out!

The ones named all suck. The attraction to McCain might be, because robbing the S&Ls will be mild compard to what they are going to do to SS.

14. McCain, with Giuliani far behind at second. |
|
Giuliani is more of a liberal than many in the GOP, but I'd still pick McCain for being able to work with Democrats and for not suffering fools gladly (and being something of a maverick).
Both of them, however, would be virtually certain to tick off our allies.
Condoleezza Rice would actually be the most composed of the lot, but I don't trust her on policy.
As for the rest -- please!
