I just got an email from MoveOn Pac...
They want us to email the people who will be meeting in Orlando on Saturday to choose a new Chair for the DNC, as if our voices mean anything to them. I really don't trust MoveOn much anymore because I think they are just an arm of the DLC. And don't forget that Simon Rosemberg is a former DLC member who had an argument with Al From and broke off to create his own centrist group. So with him we will just have more of the same.

This soppy letter does not even suggest a name. It just asks us to send in a generic response depending on this group to make a "good choice" for us. We are to merely ask them to:
"PLEASE SUPPORT A DNC CHAIR WHO WILL DECLARE INDEPENDENCE FROM SPECIAL INTEREST POLITICS AND RECONNECT THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY WITH ALL OF US OUTSIDE OF WASHINGTON, DC."

Now, just what in the fcuk does THAT mean?

Now, tell me, which person running will not swear to do that? This is just another ploy on the part of MoveOn to make sure that they still have supporters and I am sure that they do. Just not me, anymore until I find out more about where they stand - are they centrist or left? They are also asking for money again. Bullsh!t! Where are their voices in the voter fraud and recount debacle?

Another thing I noticed is that it does no good to reply to these messages from MoveOn. They just want to count numbers of responders.
